Towards the south of the Netherlands sits this scenic fort dating back to the 1600s. The fort has utilised Accoya in an unusual way, testing its durability to the extreme by submerging it in water creating a Moses bridge.
Every year when it begins to freeze, the bridge is intentionally filled with water to avoid damage from ice, and also prevents ice skaters from falling into the bridge.
