From sliding sash windows and custom front doors to a bespoke staircase, each piece needed to marry functionality with aesthetic elegance.

The Work: Craftsmanship in Every Detail

Sliding Sash Windows:

• Sliding Sash designed with spiral balances for smooth operation.
• Lambs tongue mouldings and putty-style beads maintained an authentic heritage look.
• Manufactured with Accoya Timber and pre-finished using a three coat spray system.
• Window frames finish colour in Little Greene PORTLAND STONE 77.
• Pre-glazed with 28mm - 6.4 clear laminated / 18 / 4mm toughened planitherm Low-E Argon-filled units, providing high security and thermal efficiency whilst retaining visual charm.
  

Entrance Door:

• Crafted as a pair of 58mm-thick full-height glazed doors.
• Manufactured with Accoya Timber and pre-finished using a three coat spray system.
• Door frame finish colour in Little Greene PORTLAND STONE 77.
• Fitted with robust multi-point Espag locking systems for security.
• Supplied pre-hung with 4" stainless steel ball-bearing hinges, ensuring seamless operation.
• Finished with vertical glazing bars to add a sense of proportion and style.
  

Bespoke Staircase: Combining Tradition and Contemporary Flair

As part of the project, Central Joinery Group crafted a bespoke imitation cut-string staircase that exemplifies the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.

This stunning staircase was meticulously designed and manufactured with the following features:

Ash Treads, Risers & Strings:

Crafted from durable ash wood, chosen for its strength, fine grain, and warm tones. The imitation cut-string design offers the illusion of intricate detailing without compromising on structural integrity.

Ash Mopstick Handrail:

A sleek mopstick handrail in matching ash wood. Its smooth, rounded profile not only provides comfort and ease of grip but also enhances the staircase's elegant silhouette.

Glass Infill Panels:

Adding a modern twist, the staircase features glass infill panels between the handrail and strings. These panels bring an airy, open feel to the space while maintaining safety. The combination of clear glass and natural ash creates a striking contrast, perfectly blending traditional and contemporary styles.
